About FLAG 2021

NUS Business Flag is dedicated to the culture of giving back. It also aims to promote volunteerism and build relationships between volunteers and our beneficiary, Care Community Services Society (CCSS). Comprising both Flag Day and Community Engagement activities, this year, Flag offers freshies online volunteering opportunities. This includes Carnivals with children, Arts & Crafts with the elderly, alongside other enjoyable activities!

Question: What is the main purpose of Flag?

Flag is a place to foster and celebrate the spirit of helping others through fundraising and engagement projects with our beneficiaries, while forming friendships to kickstart this new chapter of your lives in university. It’s a rewarding experience with limited slots, so hurry and jump on board with your friends! Sign up links will be up on @bizad.fop on 10 June, 15 June, and 26 June!

Question: Are all the Flag events going to be online?

In light of the COVID-19 situation, Flag 2021 will be held entirely online. Nevertheless, it will still be a meaningful and engaging experience for you and your friends!

Question: Is Rag and Flag the same event?

Nope! Flag refers to the fundraising and community service component of the FOP experience, whereas Rag focuses on the thematic floats and dance performances.
