Fret not, as the Career Services Office has in line a series of workshops to help prepare both BBA and BAC students alike in Semester 2!<\/p>\n<p>Previously known as \u201c BFS\u201d, the newly remodelled\u00a0<strong>STR1000<\/strong>\u00a0(for Year 1s) and\u00a0<strong>STR2000<\/strong>\u00a0(for Year 2s) modules now comprises of enhanced content and will be conducted by 2 trainers across the cohort to improve consistency. While these modules are still\u00a0<strong>compulsory<\/strong>, Year 2s will be able to fit STR2000 into their timetables nicely as they can sign up for their ideal timeslots via the new portal\u00a0<strong>\u201c Symplicity\u201d<\/strong>, which will be replacing \u201c TalentEdge\u201d. As timeslots will not be pre-allocated to Year 2s, it is advised to\u00a0<strong>sign up early<\/strong>\u00a0to have more choices to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there are other varieties of workshops offered (optional).\u00a0<strong>Catch-up workshops<\/strong>\u00a0are aimed towards Year 2s to cover what BFS1001 did not offer to them as compared to the new STR1001 that their juniors are taking.\u00a0<strong>Booster workshops<\/strong>\u00a0are conducted by very experienced trainers and will be on a first come first serve basis due to limited slots.\u00a0<strong>Industry specific workshops<\/strong>\u00a0will be carried out by corporate trainers who will share their invaluable experiences in their respective industries. Last but not the least,\u00a0<strong>Lunch and Learn workshops<\/strong>\u00a0are short sessions held by external trainers who will cover interesting single topics over lunch.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"thn_post_wrap wp_link_pages\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post_foot\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"share_foot share_pos_after \"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Missed out on career development programmes in Semester 1?
