The Career Services Office has in line a series of workshops to help prepare both BBA and BAC students alike.<\/p>\n<p>Previously known as \u201cBFS\u201d, the newly remodelled <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>STR1000<\/strong><\/span> (for Year 1s) and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>STR2000<\/strong><\/span> (for Year 2s) modules now comprises of enhanced content and will be conducted by 2 trainers across the cohort to improve consistency. While these modules are still <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>compulsory<\/strong><\/span>, Year 2s will be able to fit STR2000 into their timetables nicely as they can sign up for their ideal timeslots via the new portal <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>\u201cSymplicity\u201d<\/strong><\/span>, which will be replacing \u201cTalentEdge\u201d. As timeslots will not be pre-allocated to Year 2s, it is advised to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>sign up early<\/strong><\/span> to have more choices to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there are other varieties of workshops offered (optional). <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Catch-up workshops<\/strong><\/span> are aimed towards Year 2s to cover what BFS1001 did not offer to them as compared to the new STR1001 that their juniors are taking. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Booster workshops<\/strong><\/span> are conducted by very experienced trainers and will be on a first come first serve basis due to limited slots. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Industry specific workshops<\/strong><\/span> will be carried out by corporate trainers who will share their invaluable experiences in their respective industries.
