They should have a good attitude and aptitude to learn. They should be willing to open themselves to a completely new world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mandon:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding on\nto Jerry, interns should ask themselves: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>How\ndo I make this internship a meaningful one?<\/li><li>How\ncan I add value to the company? <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Calvyn: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding on,\nwe look for interns with a can-do attitude, so don\u2019t say that you cannot but\ninstead say how can I do it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><strong>How can an intern stand out?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jerry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interns\nshould do their due diligence and research on the company before the interview.\nWe look for people with passion and those who wants to improve on themselves constantly.\nBe able to communicate well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mandon:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A good Cover letter. How can you have your own voice? Also, good standards, do we see a chance that we can work with you? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They should\nbe comfortable with people and there should not be any power dynamics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Show humility\nand be confident about yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Calvyn: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Try to sell\nand share the benefits of hiring you as an intern. You should put in efforts\nbut it must be backed up by abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><strong>Advice\nfor students for their first internship:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jerry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t be\nafraid. Be hungry and have an adventurous attitude. Challenge yourself. You\nwill never gain anything if you don\u2019t try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mandon<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Networking is\nvery important. Make the best you can. Never underestimate yourself. Ask\nyourself before picking a company:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What is it about the company that I chose over the rest? <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Calvyn:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do a lot of\nNetworking as it is important. As you know more people, your worldview changes.\nDo not be afraid to ask questions.
